Back at it again, Nashville and Los Angeles based singer Alex Ray has released her newest EP Messy on October 17th. The five-track EP Messy includes hits like "BOY YOU AIN'T," "Drivers Side," "Wasted," "Yours To Use," and the title track "Messy." It perfectly emphasizes the emotions of staying awake at night remembering messy moments you wanted to forget.

Combining gut wrenching lyrics with a sync background, Messy is an incredible crash out album filled with pure vulnerability and raw emotion. You can see Ray truly cares about being true to herself through her music. It is so refreshing to listen to music that truly is raw, untouched, and real. This feeling of this raw emotion allows the listeners to step inside of Alex's mind to figure out how she is truly feeling.

At the heart of the EP, the title track "Messy" incorporates every theme of the album. This song features a slow build that leads into a crazy crash-out chorus. Ray says, "For me, that bridge is like sitting in a dark room with nothing but your thoughts," which shows the deep emotion intertwined between the guitar riffs, sync beats, and drum solos that seem to rip your heart right open.
