Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour
By Abigail P
After 31 shows in the US, Billie Eilish finished off her tour with 5 nights in her hometown of Los Angeles. Billie Eilish has some hardcore fans that understand her love for LA, so these 5 nights are a big deal to the people who love her most. Fans began to camp almost 2 weeks prior just so they could get the perfect spot on the barricade but was it worth it? I had the honor to attend 3 of Eilish's shows on the Hit Me Hard And Soft Tour, (Atlanta N1, LA N1, LA N3) and I can say that this show is life changing.
Eilish has always put on a good show. I have attended previous shows of hers but I have never seen anything like her most recent show, The HIT ME HARD AND SOFT World Tour. The main difference this show has from her previous tours, is that it is performed in the round. Eilish can fill an entire venue and she does. Every show sold out, and the venue is packed to the brim with fans eager to see her.
Eilish performed 24 songs, including her top hits like "Ocean Eyes", "Birds of a Feather", and "Bad Guy". The show lasts approximately 2 hours, and that is 2 hours I wish I could replay over and over again. She added in some special touches for her hometown shows like the addition of "idontwannabeyouanymore" and one night she brought out Charli XCX to sing their song "Guess".
I got the opportunity to see this show from all levels, (upper bowl, lower bowl, and barricade) and I have to say that lower bowl is the way to go. While barricade was an amazing experience, the lower bowl gave me the chance to see her all over the stage, and see all the lights from a higher point of view. I would give this concert a 10/10 and if you get the chance to go see it you should!
