Hunter Metts

Coverage and Photos by Abigail P
This Friday (11/7), Hunter Metts brought his "A Crater Wide Tour" to New York City. Thanks to 1824 and Interscope Records, I had the opportunity to attend and photograph the show!

Metts radiates a warm and calm stage presence. During his set, he shared that he's spent much of his career opening for other artists, but now, on his first headline tour, he wants to take his time on stage and give the audience his very best. He carefully tunes his instruments and moves at his own pace, creating a relaxed, intimate atmosphere for his fans.
The night opened with Emma Andersen, whose beautiful lyrics and relatable stories set the perfect tone for the evening.
Hunter Metts' tour continues through the end of November, and I highly recommend catching a show if he's coming to a city near you, especially if you love heartfelt, folk-inspired music!
