Love permanently penned in Rachel Chinouriri’s new single “What A Life”

Chinouriri's newest single dazzles with lyricism that is just as romantic as the rest of her work
As an addendum to her originally four track EP "Little House", English popstar Rachel Chinouriri has released her new single "What A Life". Placed at the end of the project dedicated to the love she has for her partner, "What A Life" follows the same heartfelt themes as the rest of the EP and doubles down.
Filled to the brim with small notions of a comforting home life, Chinouriri captures a simple yet beautiful image. A life filled with small, yet joyous, clichés with her lover day to day. Even just daydreams like, "I see breakfast on the table / Two kids half-asleep" evokes images of a perfect domestic life free of hardship. It's what Chinouriri does best with this EP. Placing the listener in a lovestruck state regardless of actual experiences.
"What A Life" supports this overarching narrative with its themes. A pure love song not burdened by anxieties or issues. It fits perfectly with the other four tracks of this EP that all share this same devotion and fearlessness in love. Sonically it combines all the loved elements of the rest of the EP: bright keys, unique synths, and Chinouriri's vocals that float with the song. It concludes the "Little House" reissue in a beautiful and resoundingly romantic way.
