The 7 track EP describes the different "monsters" of emotions in your head. "This project is a mirror. It forces me to look at my own inner monsters that are sometimes scary, and yet also make me who I am," Phia explains. "I hope it gives listeners a chance to look in their own mirror and feel as though they aren't alone." The individual monsters are added up to emphasize the individual and collective roles each of these voices has in someone's life.
The opening track "monster" sets the tone for the rest of the EP. Other tracks include "people pleaser," which explores people pleasing tendencies and "half empty," which explores pessimism and repetitive negative outlooks in situations. The track "autumn's broken pieces" explores the connection of weather, seasons, and relationships. All three of these tracks include heavy visual story elements to build the atmosphere. The EP as a whole is used to educate the listener on ways to digest their own emotions and look at situations in a more positive light.
